We’re in the heat of summer, and I’m loving the fabulous weather. Here in Los Angeles, we’re fortunate to enjoy beautiful sunny weather year round. And who doesn’t adore warm weather? Blue skies are ideal for entertaining and having a good time. I love being an event planner, especially at this time of year.

Family Vacations
Every summer, families take the time to gather for reunions and to create a lifetime of memories at their favorite vacations spots. Picnics and backyard cookouts are some of the most relaxed and casual ways to entertain, but can still be elegant and festive.
June Brides
Nothing makes an event planner happier or crazier than a whirlwind of beautiful, blushing June brides. Warm weather weddings under wide open skies make my heart smile. More summer brides choose outdoor ceremonies or receptions, which means time in lush gardens, rolling green estate grounds, and beaches.
Bright Colors
Spring’s fresh pastels and muted tones and fall’s deep rich hues are gorgeous, but there’s just something so energizing and fun about the bright pops of color I’m surrounded by all summer.
Baby Showers
September and October are the business months for delivery rooms, so the summer months are busiest for baby showers. Baby showers are sweet, joy-filled occasions that I get to enjoy most this time of year.
Starry Nights
Some of my favorite events take place on warm summer nights under the stars. Our summer social calendars are filled with fundraisers, dinner parties, and cocktail parties that last well after the sun goes down into the evening.
Cool Water
Whether it’s a pool party, beach bash, river cruise, or a special occasion at the lake, nothing says warm weather fun like partying waterside. Either to create a lovely atmosphere or serve as a form of entertainment, water is guaranteed to set the mood for your party.
Summer Fashion
We all get to feel sexy by showing a little skin. Don’t you just love showing up, looking your best in a cute sun dress or a flirty cocktail dress, ladies? Plus, we get to check out the guys in their cool linen and seersucker.
I always enjoy planning events for warm weather months. Warm weather events open up your options, guests are more relaxed, and everyone seems to be more at ease. So, cheers to sunny skies and sparkling nights!
