Super Bowl Party Tips!

Football spirit is still in the air! and here are some tips for those rowdy football tailgating parties that I promised! Enjoy~

 * Forget the paper. Send an inflatable football to your guests with the party details written with a marker instead of the usual flat invite. Invitees have to inflate the football to get the who, where and when!
* Show your spirit! Have guests come in their favorite team’s sports jerseys or colors. It’ll add to the décor, fun and spirit!
* Cool centerpieces. Use unique fun pieces like a football helmet and stuff it with flowers or even chips to play double duty! Dont forget to add Wholly Guacamole to your chips for an extra kick!
* Plan ahead. If you are grilling, allow at least 30 minutes for the charcoal to get hot and make sure your food is ready to eat 1 to 2 hours before the game.  This gives you plenty of time to nosh, clean up and still watch the kickoff! If you’re at a location without a grill an option is to get a portable grill you can take anywhere!
* Fun place settings. Transform each person’s table setting to tie into the theme/décor of the party. Pennants can be used as place mats, lanyards can be used as napkin rings, and jersey drink insulators keep the drinks cold and make fun take home gifts.
* Hot shots. Photo ops are key. Create a life-sized cutout of your favorite player (or cheerleader!) so guests can snap a great picture and you can mark your location (the tailgate party or just your house or apartment!) Turns into a fun keepsake memory of the wonderful event!
